Let's talk about what everyone on r/Eve is thinking but Asher couldn't quite say out loud.
The SOTA declared war on Winter Coalition. The stated target? The "staging Keepstar in Geminate." Sounds dramatic. Sounds strategic. There's just one tiny problem:
WinterCo stages out of completely different systems. The Geminate Keepstar is primarily a TEST Alliance staging point. Everyone who's played this game for more than five minutes knows this.
Listen to the SOTA again carefully. Asher spends 20 minutes building up to "we're going after Winter Coalition" but the actual military target is... a TEST Keepstar. In a region where TEST lives. While INIT is already running ops against FRT holdings in Pure Blind.

Declaring war on the entire WinterCo coalition gives them a big scary opponent to frame the narrative around, while the actual first-week military objectives are all in TEST space.
